FAQs

What hunt areas do you operate in?

Deer: region C

Antelope: area 15

How easy is it to draw a tag?

Based on the WY Game and Fish 2020 draw odds, a non-resident with zero preference points was not likely to draw a regular price tag, but was guaranteed to draw if he/she put in for the “special” tag, which has better draw odds, but is also more expensive. For antelope, a non-resident with zero preference points was guaranteed to draw if he/she put in for the regular price tag. For anyone with one or more preference points, regular priced deer and antelope tags are easily drawn in our area. We expect similar results for 2021. We are happy to discuss license application strategies for your unique situation.

When is the deadline to apply for a license?

June 1st is the deadline to apply for deer and antelope licenses through the Wyoming Game and Fish. Applications open on January 2. We will help you apply for licenses/preference points.

Do you take any archery hunters?

Sorry, no. At this time, we only allow rifle hunters.

How strenuous are these hunts?

Most of our hunting will be done from a 4x4 vehicle. Expect to do lots of glassing until we locate an animal we want to harvest, then we will pursue on foot. The stalk can be quite strenuous given most of our country is quite steep and rocky. However, we can accommodate the hunt to nearly anyones fitness level.

What additional fees am I responsible for?

We will provide all meals and lodging. You are responsible for your license/conservation stamp, meat processing, taxidermy, and meat shipping costs. We will transport carcasses to our local butcher for no charge. Our guides work very hard and appreciate any tip you feel they have earned.

How much of a deposit do you require to book a hunt?

To book a hunt, you must pay a deposit equal to 50% of the total hunt price. A personal check is acceptable for the deposit. When you arrive, you must pay the remainder of the hunt price with certified funds (cash, cashiers check).

Do you allow non-hunters to accompany?

Yes. Each party may bring up to one non-hunting guest for an additional fee of $500. Bring your spouse or friend along on an amazing vacation!

Do you allow semi-automatic hunting rifles?

We do not allow semi-automatic rifles for deer or antelope hunting. Let us know if you would like to borrow a rifle for your hunt. We have several deadly-accurate rifles to choose from!
